P1320 and cold-start issues, cheap place to buy Coils?
Hi Everyone,
My car on cold starts always seems to die almost immediately. The only way I can get the car to run is if I stick it in neutral and rev it up for about a minute, then I can put the car under load and it won't die anymore.
The car is throwing a P1320 code in the OBD2.
The car is a 2001 Infiniti I30t (I think it is the VQ30 engine). From what I've been reading I need new coil packs. Which are the coil packs I should buy, and from where for the cheapest place? Thanks everyone!

This is the only way to go when it comes to critical engine components
I know we all like to save a few dollars, but this is a vital performance part of the car and just not worth trying to cheap out on.

You might wanna do a price comparison search in different places for current prices. When I had to replace mine, at 132k miles in 2008, I bought them from Autozone and Amazon. All of them have the grey dot (in some cases under a silver sticker), which id's the updated coil pack version. The car is now 238k and they are still running strong, with no more coil packs problem ever since. Sometimes you can even find online coupon codes for places like Advance Auto parts.
Sounds like it may be the intake manifold gasket failing cause when the car is cold you have a vacuum leak once it warms up it expands and in turn seals the vacuum. iirc there's 2 1320 codes, a PENDING misfire and a regular constant mis. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. Good luck.
