Adding sensors to factory alarm

I know this has been discussed before but could get a yes or no answer from searching,The question is ,is it possible to add sensors to your factory alarm for 5th gen i know its been done in the 4th gens

When I bought my '02 GLE the dealer offered an upgrade to the alarm system to detect glass breakage. The $600 they wanted to charge for the upgrade was a little too steep for me. So my answer would be yes.

Ok thanks guys anyone know how? I'm definitely going to need these to prevent wheel theft

If I found myself needing an alarm upgrade I'd visit a local car stereo and alarm installation shop.

^^^^^what he said, if your going to spend that kind of money you could go get an aftermarket alarm remote start installed for that price
