Ever heard of the Place Racing CAI??
has anyone heard of the Place Racing cold air intake?? I saw this partucular intake for sale on one of these sites.. is it any good any experiences?? please let me know thanks!

Yes, its a very popular intake among the 4th & 5th gen guys. As of what i know, they make it up to the 01 models. I dont think they have a production for 02 Maximas. Pretty much if you dont go CAI, there is OSCAI, JWT, & the mighty Stealin'. 
I know that Avalon Racing has a cone intake for 2k2's.
Steve aka DMBMaxima88 has made his own intake for his 2k2 which dynoed 10hp & 5lbs.

The filter?
You take off the inner fender well and there is the filter. You just take it off and clean it with the K&N recharge kit. Let it dry and reinstall the filter and there you go. It is pretty easy. If your car is lowered you will need to jack it up to get to the filter easier, but that's it.
