Hey Guys I have the 2002 Maxima GLE.. and it does not have the overdrive button only the D4. then if you switch it over to the left for 3 .. I Guess that is considered Over Drive.. anyways it doesnt have a button or anything to move it out off park.. I liked the Levoc Shift **** but They all have the OD buttons and the Button at the top.. so .. Sorry if this sounds dumb I am blonde.. I wanted a Levoc shift **** or something simular to it.. I want the ALuminum or pearl white.. anyone know the soultion thanks!

 

get a manual shift **** without buttons, maybe they'll work

Since the 2k2's have the gated shifter, you might be able to just put a manual shift **** in place of the stock one as costcowholesale stated. Just go to your local speed shop and find one you like and see if it fits. You'll be original

maybe you can lurk around tl message board and see what those guys do, I'm sure it won't look weird as long as you get the long ones, not the one that looks like a golfball

levoc makes some without the overdrive buttons, but as stated before since you have the gated shifter ... I don't think it will work. Haven't looked at the new automatics personally, but I don't see it working. You will most likely have to settle for the replacement sifht **** only, leaving the stalk alone.

 

yeah, i think a manual shift **** will work. however has anyone done this before? does the auto shift **** just twists off?
