Disconnecting Battery

What benefits does disconnecting the battery have? Will it smooth out my auto transmission? How do I do this, do I just remove the bolt that is holding the clip on?

Thanks.

Dude, disconnecting the battery to smooth out the trans is the weirdest thing I've ever heard of. I've never heard of doing that, but if you want to try, just disconnect the negative charge(usually on the left side)and see what happens. Your going to loose all your radio settings, but its up to you bro good luck

I am nuts , but I have never heard of anything like this. Try it and see what happens. BTW if it won't make the check engine light go away.. why would it change your tranny?

How is it possible that the battery as anything to do with the tranny??? If you want your tranny to be smooth, get the VB mod or go to your dealer and have them replace the solenoid and/or the TCM (assuming it's still under warranty)

Yes dis conecting the battery will smooth out the tranny. What it does is not allow the car to start therefor you never move giving you the best sit you can have. It will be the smoothest shift you ever have.

Dear God,
make it stop please I beg you.

Love your son.
