A friend of mine wanted to get a CAI for his CL. He thinks AEM makes one, does anyone know were he can get one?

P.S. I dont have O.T. yet I'm poor.

I have one on my Accord V6. I converted it to Short Ram mode though because it seems to have better low-mid range response, which is what I mostly need. The CAI setup seems to work best at the top-end where I rarely am.

I got mine from www.autocarparts.com

hmmmm...when BrianV and Cheston were doing a CAI vs. Stillen intake test on dyno, it seemed like the CAI was topping out way too early on Maximas compared to Cheston's SI set-up...guess it's a little different with Maximas?

Every car is different

I never had a chance to really try out the Short Ram on my Accord besides butt-dyno runs before it got wrecked (was gonna try G-Tech and some HWY runs). I did the CAI => Short Ram conversion over the holidays and it got nailed on Jan 2nd

ouch..

on of the reason why i chose to go with a short ram intake rather than a CAI is that i didn't want to drill a hole in my inner fender and i thought this was a better, easier way to go..

Yeah if I had a Maxima I wouldn't bother with drilling either and just get the under-hood intake.

Honda left us plenty of room under the hood to play with intakes once you remove the stock filter box equipment and the resonator down behind the bumper. The CAI setup is sorta a pain because you have to remove the splashguarding to get to the filter or remove the front bumper. Major pain. I converted to Short Ram just so I wouldn't have to go through all the trouble the next time I needed to clean the filter. I think I like the response better, too.

This picture was taken at the body shop yard after the wreck. I didn't even have install pics yet
