Oil smell has been getting stronger and stronger
recently. Opened the hood and saw the front valve cover is seeping oil and burning up.

I thought the a block seal was leaking so at least that's somewhat good news.

Fixed my passenger front door so it could be opened from the inside. When you pulled the inside handle, it only came out about half way. Turns out a piece of the handle broke off and was keeping the handle from moving all the way.

I couldn't see where it broke off from, but I didn't dissemble the handle assembly. I just hope that the whole handle doesn't break apart now.

Removed the visor that goes over the front of the sunroof, cleaned the area, used a pocket knife to open up the two little drain holes a little more, and replaced it.

A little while back I repaired the joint in the exhaust line that's by the right rear wheel for the second time. $3 for a clamp plus some exhaust tubing left over from previous projects on other cars and a little quality time with a MIG welder and my almost 13 y/o Max has the nice little growl it should have had all along.

Over the weekend I replaced the radiator and front motor mount, which was very easy to get to with the radiator out. Also the upper and lower radiator hoses, drained the tranny fluid and replaced the upper radiator mount bushings. I also removed 3 locking lug nuts with missing key thanks to some help on the forum. All it took was a 3/4 inch socket and a hammer and they turned right off. My new rear struts and springs came in the mail, so I swapped those out as well. Went with the Monroe quick strut and that was a super easy job, less than an hour.

No? creeper, 3 low profile jacks, extra set of all sockets, and extra set wrenches. They work good as any of my other tools though.

Maybe the kid shouldn't run out in the street, round here I don't have to yeild to stupid people running in front of traffic with no cross walk and without looking for cars...

Even if what you claim is true, I think in most places you lose any right of way when you're in the process of breaking traffic laws.

Never mind that WOT in a residential neighborhood with cars parked on both sides of the street is getting close to reckless driving.

Keep this thread clean boys... we are not here to debate who did what and why it was dumb. Yes posting your illegal stuff on you tube is dumb, but that is on the person that posted it.

WE ALL KNOW STREET RACING IS STUPID AND KILLS, but at the same token most of us spiritly drive all the time and know it.

She is with the mechanic :c

The CV joint boot tears up and it started to make noises by the lack of grease.

Also, I bought a vacuum line trying to fix the vacuum leak in my VIAS system but the diameter of it it's a little wider and it's loose. Damn!

Look at another 02 Maxima... Its in the shop right now. Owner is a fool. Thought his oil leak would be fixed by pouring in more oil, to bad he has a power steering leak. Oh but wait, there's more! Lets fix the power steering leak by putting oil (yes engine oil) in the power steering reservoir....
