It's the little things that sometimes make a big difference. Just ordered the small plastic cover that goes near your foot near the gas pedal.

I lost mine in my ECU wiring/modding days and now it looks a bit weird and one wire is spliced and sometimes depending if i have sht kickers on, I'll grab taht wire and bam, there goes my CC.

Only problem I got an email telling me it was on national backorder from Nissan USA.

Next up, going to try and finally connect my primary O2's into the headers without extending them. I hope it can be done. Only problem is, I drive it every day so I can't do that job during the week, because hot.

I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamel 500 degree.

Very painful hahaha. But on a serious note I covered the threads in tape and sand blasted the bolt heads only. Then I stuck the threads in the cardboard box so I wouldn't paint over them since they are ok.

I took my worthless injen intake that i removed after i realised how much hot air that thing gets when the fans are on and turned it into a true cold air intake like the old place racing intake.

Took maybe 1 hour to do it and that includes doing the battery relocation mod that i found on the forum.

Since i dont have fog lights i took the dremel and cut out the inside of the fog light slots so direct cold air can get into there.

I also position the filter as you can see right above the whole so direct rain won't hit it coming in you can just see the bottom of the filter through the whole.

Since yesterday i ordered 3 new Injen couplers so everything will match and get rid of the red spectre ones i used for the time being. I'm also picking up an old berk intake midpipe from a friend to get rid of the hermoltz resonator this weekend.

Also i will be cleaning up that part of the engine bay more this weekend since most of that area has been covered up until i did the battery location so everything will be nice and clean there soon like the rest of the engine.

It was well worth it.

With my scan tool my IAT are around 36 degrees colder while driving in 85 degree temps then when i had my injen located in the original location by the radiator and gets better at highway speed. The main thing i like is at idle in traffic or with the a/c on the IAT stay the same and aren't effect by engine heat or hot air from the fans.

Here is the link to the battery relocation thread i followed.

http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...ir-intake.html

Also if you don't have a injen intake currently you can buy just the pipes which are identical to the injen stuff for $20 and then just grab a couple of intake couplers and filter and have a intake for about $50 depending on filter i went with a apexi so it was alittle more.

Also you can use the elbow that came with the injen intake kit like in the battery relocation thread or just pick up and 3" 90 degree elbow like i did from autozone for $6 for a cleaner look but either way will work great.

I have not seen a gold plasti dip before until just now

No offense but that doesn't look good at all in my opinion but again it your car I'd stick with black plasti dip... good thing you can remove the paint!

Yeah gold rims are really a hard color to get right on some cars it really depends on the color of the car. Blue does really well with gold rim like the olf rally subaru's.

Oddly i'm looking into gold rims also because the Konig Daylite only come in 3 colors lol.

Gold , black with a yellow lip or Green.

These are the ones i was looking at. I'm really into light weight rims and these 17's are right at 14lbs.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...r=9&wd=17&rw=7

also there other 2 colors they come in.

If the light gold wheels dont work out for me i could pick up the Kong backbone is 17x7.5 that weight 16.3 lbs so just alittle more.

Going to wash her, and maybe change the fuel pump/filter and install new cabin air filter and motor.

If there is time, I'll get the shop to do up my new exhaust

Got an alignment at the stealership and cost a wamping $109.00 but I have a membership card and get points, so it covered $85 of it and only had to pay $roughly 25 out of pocket.

It was legit. One of the best ones I'd say. Couple stunts were kinda far fetched but it was a great show. Prolly gonna go watch it again, after the credits is a extra bit and we know #7 is the final one so...

In the last week I did...
New front rotors and pads
Fresh oil and filter
P. front wheel bearing
Changed 2 tires and balanced all wheels
Installed 01 AE tails
Put pipe clamps on all the exhaust hangers, so solid now
and fixed my leaking muffler by welding on an 01 AE muffler, both thanks to a parts car I scored.

Also, I picked quite a few things from it, door sills, side markers, knuckles, LCA's... And lots more.

I was feeling pretty good about my car last night when I parked it in the garage and went out to see coolant on the ground... and all over the engine compartment.

So, today, I happily came across the recently replaced almost new rad, with perfectly functioning rad fans in that beaut of a parts car. Cleaned it up nice, swapped it into mine, and filled her up with fresh coolant.

Feelin pretty good about her right now.
