no way to adjust it man, If your lowered you need a QT link for the rear to even it back out, mine was riding .45 out on that one side till I installed the link. Its a common issue search for the QT link

Got a lot done today!! (had the day off)

First got an alignment (finally) car rides soooo much better especially since the coilovers were installed.

Install new fuel filter, pump and straining (very easy) Made a HUGE improvement. Power is probably like 15% better I did however manage to spary a bunch of gas in the car....

Installed a new blower motor too. Try to get the cabin air filter out, but before I managed to I realized that my "cabin air filter kit" only had 1 of 2 filters in it.

Strainer pic (see the brown... that's probably what your strainer looks like too. replace it!!! and trust me your fuel filter looks exactly the same)

Got the shop to clear the 3 or 4 codes I managed to store from starving the car of gas when purging the lines....

Been thinking over a cool CAI project. Taking out the fog lights, installing some Hellas I have that fit real nice into the grill, then making a CAI from the 2 ports... I'll see how far I actually get on it... lol

How do you do this? I used to do it on my 4th gen all the time. haven;t done it on the 5.5g yet.

Usually a spray at the high pressure car wash would do the trick, covering KS alley, and the intake.

This still the method of choice?

I find that a quality CO2 airsoft pistol is the perfect fit for your situation. Good distance but loses power fast. Lets the critters know you're angry without hurting them. The neighbors cat is now scared to death of my car.

Did an awesome dome light mod

This dome light mod works perfectly and exactly the way I intended, it's awesome. And I'm sure some of you guys are likely to find this quite awesome and useful.

What is it? Well, have you ever been driving at night and had to turn your dome light on for something? And when you did it was too bright, it affects your vision of the road, you can see it from outside the car, etc. Now, this light mod will keep your light color exactly the same but the light output reduced by about 50% after 3 coats, you can always do 1-2 coats for different results.

Basically, this light mod makes the light just bright enough for you to see everything, but doesn't affect your vision when driving, and is 100% completely invisible from outside the car. (ONLY) If you have tints that are 30% or darker, or at least I've only tested it w/ tints not sure how it would be w/o them.

First thing, you need translucent paint. I don't recommend using the black because it will make the light color change and make it way darker. Here is what I used, it's Rustoleum translucent silver, and please don't ever use it on your headlights/tails it looks horrible on any actual lights but on the dome light its the ideal perfect thing:

Here is what the dome light looks like painted. Any of you guys with sterling mist color cars may really appreciate this one like I did:

And finally, here is what the light looks like (night time pic using flash):

I'll make sure to take a night pic tonight, from outside the car so you can see how the light is completely invisible and you can just sit there with it on without anyone knowing. This is a mod that can definitely turn out VERY useful for some people...

What you guys think?

I ordered some cheapo, 5spd engine mounts from rockauto, and last Night I filled them with Windo-Weld ((Man, that's expensive!), so hopefully, I can do all the motor and tranny mounts tomorrow. Hopefully Ill be able to do my subframe collar bushings.

Didn't necessarily do all this 'today' but within the last week:

-Fixed o2 sensor 'high voltage' cel. Apparently the shop that extended my o2 for headers had extended the hard wires instead of the wires before the harness...this caused irregularities in the o2 signal which introduced the cel.

-Installed 4" CGR Intake and started tuning via UTEC. Woot! http://forums.maxima.org/all-motor/6...ml#post8799801

Well, Im still picking up tools right now, but today I managed to remove and wash all my seat belts. They were naaaaassssty, and after about 3 scrubbings, they all look brand new again! Changed front and rear motor mounts (gonna have to do the other 2 tomorrow), and also installed my subframe collar bushings. Painted my wingless trunk, radiator support brackets, and blacked out the grille surround. I'll have to do the whole grille later. Whew! I'm Pooped!

Which item are you referring too?

Air/oil separator? It's one that is meant for compressed air lines. I found it when cleaning out my shed. I had used it on my sentra Specv about 8 years ago. Anyways it would collect about 3-4 oz of oil every few weeks. I would unscrew the reservoir and pour it back in the motor.

ripped apart everything to switch out my starter and found out pretty quickly why there isn't a really good writeup on the 5.5 gen removal.

two bolts and i can't get to them because of that additional wiring harness that isn't on the 2000-2001.

ugh. best part is gonna be when i get to the shop and its just the battery.
