Tint window question

Anyone who lives around Massachusetts or a state that is 35% tint law I have couple questions. I did used to have tint window in my old car 20% all around and 10% in the rear window back but that was even after I got my car inspection after my car died on me 200k mileage on it.

So now I want a tint window for my new car I want to get a 20% all around and 10% rear window same from my old car.

But I"m wondering if I get my vehicle inspection again next year will I failed due on tint window for having too dark? I have been pulled over for other reasons with my old car while I had my car tinted and the cops doesn't care about that tint window.

Would people still be able see stuff inside the car if I get 35% tint window?

Do also vehicle inspection check rear window as well?

You will fail for the 20%. The law seems to be 35% all the way around. And remember that 35% film will read darker due to the factory glass being 70% already.

You can try the old trick of putting the windows down, pulling the fuse and getting it inspected on a warm day.

What kind of "stuff" are you hiding in your car?

35% you can still see inside the car, depending on the outside lighting/angle of the sun

to answer your question... yes, 35% is dark enough for you to blow a blunt without anyone seeing

Here are a couple of shots of my 35% tint. Cloudy day, so you can't really see much inside. With the sunlight hitting at the right angle, you'd be able to see more. For reference, the Subaru parked next to my car has 50% tint

seriously looks like 20% to me and the back side window look even like 15% to me... damn is that really 35%?!

If that is so then 35% should make me happy then!

I've got 20 percent on sides, check my sig. It's pretty damned dark, love it!
