power window and lock buttons always lit?

i just found out that when ever the car is ON, the power window and lock buttons are always lit. this means that even when its in the morning and my lights are off, those buttons are lit. Is it just me or it seems to be a pretty useless feature.

Re: Re: steering wheel buttons

No they don't. That is why all the buttons are of different sizes and relative heights to each other...so you can 'feel' for them rather than take your eyes off the road, especially at night.

I found out that the lights have to change in 30sec-1min intervals. I park in the basement, leave auto on. When I start the car, the lights are on. When I pull out, the lights stay on even on a sunny day, but go off after about a minute.

probably a protection feature preventing headlights from turning on and off constanly when passing shades rapidly.

you know, strange thing was my 2k Max took about 30 -60 seconds to switch from on to off in auto.. but the i35 is within a couple of seconds. You'd think the delay would be better for the HID than the halogens in the 2k!
