Looking 4 Headlight Mod Specialist/person..

Hey Fellas,

I want to do a project on my 5.5 headlights which includes amber delete with clear lens & painting inside of my headlight of a color of my choice. I already spoke to Glachman(nycmaximas) who does the amber delete but does not paint & Da Night Ryder(nycmaximas) who doesn't have the tools nor the time to do my project. Is there anybody on here that can do what i'm asking for or know of anyone or shop that can do my project in NY???? Please post or send pm or text me for faster response 917-680-5055. I wanna do this ASAP

Thanks

I'm still running amber bulbs in my front turn signals after the "amber delete" was done. Crazy to think, here is this highly sought after mod and I have it done and I'm still running amber!

So, should I switch out my amber turn signals for clears? My running lights are wired to the clear lights up top, so my turn signals are separate from everything else and only go on when I use them. (You can see running lights in my sig)

Are you trying to go all clear without any amber turn signals? I feel like some people on the road just have a better chance of not hitting your damn car when all lights are working right, proper amber turn signals help.

Keep the amber bulbs. They have bulbs that look clear/silver in color but blink orange. They would be your best bet to stay legal and safe.

Something like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-7440-992-T20-Silver-Chrome-Wedge-Amber-Light-Bulbs-/380253404946?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5888de7f12&vxp=mtr

Thanks guys, I'm gonna buy a set of those bulbs.

And OP -- those do indeed look really nice.

You might even find the silver/orange bulb in a local pepboys or autozone.

I can do it but you have to mail me them. I will ship them out the day after I receive them so if you could do it over a weekend mail me them on Friday and you get them on Monday.

I have done 20+ sets. I can do angel eyes, leds, paint, etc.

I never bothered with projectors because they look weird in our headlights. I would be happy do do them but would want your car local so I could aim them correctly.

If interested PM me.

This is how much I would charge if anyone is interested:

Usually I do it like this:
Amber delete $100 + you need to supply the new lenses or I can not use a lens. It looks better with the malibu lens from home depot for what it is worth. This cost covers opening up and resealing the headlights, amber delete, me dremeling out the malibu lense and epoxying it in.

Painting $50 + paint I have to tape off and it takes a while as I do multiple coats, and I prefer to clear over it really makes the color pop but you can leave it without clear if you want. I would do gloss black with clear for the OPs car but that is just me.

Angel eye install $50 + a bottle of 5 minute CLEAR epoxy. This comes with the splice connectors and instructions for wiring them up. Very simple. Takes under 2m per headlight.

So a full set is $200 + shipping both ways. So at the end of the day you are looking at $250 for painted amber deleted angel eye installed headlights. I think my prices are fair. You can always go stick $800 worth of headlights in your oven and do it yourself.
