2 questions on Auto to 5 speed swap.

So i decided that the auto trans in my maxima has to go since to me its just not worth it to rebuilt it since i will want to install a modified VB and also level 10 torque converter which makes the price in the end about double what it would for me to do the manual swap since i can do all the labor work.

My question is after reading all write ups on it i have 2 Questions.

First one is will the bolts that hold the Auto transmission to the engine also work for the Manual transmission.

Second question is will the bolts that hold the Torque converter flexplate to the engine also hold the flywheel to the engine.

Since all the holes are in the engine the threads wont be different it would just be bolt length that might be different but wanting to see if anyone has resused them.

Also on a side note does anyone have a link for a 5 speed swap on a 5th gen? I've found tons for a 4th gen and while very close there are difference when it comes to removed the brake pedal and what not so seeing if there a correct write up.

Yep i have that one and 2 others printed out so i have plenty of info when i do the swap.

None of them say if they can reuse the bolts so i'm guessing you can. At worst i just go and buy new bolt for both the mounting of the tranny to the engine and for the fly wheel which wont be that expensive so i might as well just do that.

Just as an update.

The bolts that connect the auto transmission to the engine will also work for the manual transmission along with the bolt that are used to mount the torque converter flexplate to the engine will also work to mount the fly wheel the part# s are the same.

So just one less thing i need before i do the swap.
