Depends on the tire specifications. Read your tire's sidewall. It will say something about Do Not Inflate Over xx pounds. It may also say to follow the car's factory recommendation for tire pressure.

Agreed. Always check side walls max psi. Mines like 68 psi so I got wiggle room. I have been running 40 psi on my cars for years with no issues. But it depends on the tire. My tires wear perfect on this. If I hit low 30's I get the sides wearing more then middle.

I have ran a few cars tires at around 40psi. It always feel a little rougher, but it does improve mileage and it feels more responsive as well. It could just be in my head, but that's my take.

You don't need a sprint booster on an 00 maxima. It's cable driven. I believe you may want the pathfinder TB

No, the device works. But, it does not add horsepower or improve performance. It removes the (slight) electronic delay between pedal and throttle and increases the "gain." Meaning at stock, 1% pedal equals 1% throttle. Sprint booster adjust this ratio to 1% pedal - 10% throttle (don't recall exact ratio). So, more throttle with less pedal and you reach maximum throttle with less pedal.

I google that and it's a remapper, so you saying it's fuel map or computer limitation? i notice my stock car when i hit the pedal doesn't do any thing, it sits there for second then accelerates.

This is about NWP's 75mm TB, not about the Sprint Booster.

Go here for that:

What you gain in gas mileage with your tires at 40 psi you lose in braking ability, cornering performance, and wear. Factory air pressure provides the best balance for everything.

should note that is based on using the OEM tire size/spec and doesnt apply to tires on bigger wheels or tires of significantly different construction

OK OK let me get back on track here....

I have the 75mm TB but not the NWP kit. I got it installed a couple years ago when I did my all motor build and I noticed that the response on the throttle was improved. Back in the day they did not have these nice PnP harnesses that connect the stock 02/03 TB harness to the 09 TB harness....so I had to use the FSM and make my own wiring connections and purchase AN ENTIRE 2009 engine harness just to get the pigtail for the TB off of it!

Installed my salvage yard 09 TB and my custom adapter plate. The elbow was opened up to 74mm, so my adapter plate is tapered from 76mm to 74mm across 1/2 aluminum plate. I will be taking it for a drive to work tonight. I already have noticed that when the car starts there is definitely a difference. I also ceramic coated the upper IM and elbow.

For the record. I have plans to put a 80mm BBMAF in the car this week. My car was runes with g35 injectors over a year ago but they were almost maxed out. So I have 440cc right now but not tuned. My afr is not right. Looking at about 11 at wot. Berk style intake.

Took the car to work tonight and even with the bad afr all i can say is holy crap! The car is pulling like a ****!

Sorry off topic but what kind of radiator and hoses are you using. I think my radiator is in need of replacement soon.

Also 1 thing that makes the install much easier was the bottle cozy.... I thought that would be a great help to the people who haven't done this mod yet

hey knight_yyz, would you happen to be able to throw up a sound bite on your setup??

Also, general question: on a 5.5 gen could I throw the 4th gen mishimoto radiator with 4th gen obx upper/lower rad hoses and a 350z thermostat and everything would be direct fit minus mounting the rad? My max is reaching 140k and needs cooling system upgrade I feel

That dyno turned out 253.50 fwhp and 249.75 lb/ft tq Since then I have added the block plate and the 80mm TB. The 80 mm BBMAF is not installed but it is built. I have to ceramic coat it this weekend.

My dyno appointment is on Aug 27th

Imagine this with a velocity stack and a 6" inlet air filter

It's not uncommon. I've got a 100mm MAF/intake, as do quite a few others. I guess I should be getting a new TB soon then.

Back on subject.

I've had the NWP throttle body kit for about a month.

Throttle response is improved and I feel a slight bump in power, but the most noticeable changes are the throttle response and a slight decrease in MPG(but that could be from being rev-happy the past few weeks). I did have a SES light after the install but I did the relearn procedures(it took 3 times) and the light has not returned after about 1-1.5k miles.

Over all I am very happy with the kit and the installation shouldn't take more than 45-60 minutes for a novice. I'd gladly recommend it to any Max owner.

MIL = SES.

I had one too.... It would be on at idle then turn off when throttle was applied. Nothing came up when scanned though... Couldn't clear it either with any of the apps I have, doing the ecu reset and throttle relearn fixed it.

You have to do the throttle relearn, there is more air getting through when the tb is at idle. I had no problems after the install.
