Bose Radio Dead 02 Yawn again.

Any ideas what is up?

This is my 3rd radio in 10 years.
Fuses are great, I just pushed the button, the radio came on and then went dead.
Steering controls are not working, CD dead, no lights.

Should I keep searching for another fuse?
Should I trash the Bose unit?
Can I replace with a different plug in unit from ebay, maybe a single CD changer?

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

the push button stock radio has a known issue with some or all of the six solder joints holding the push button cracking causing either intermittent operation or no operation. so i'd remove it and take it apart and look at it, for mine i just touched up the solder joints and it's been working fine for awhile now.
