Im banging my head off the wall on this car now. Its pulling 2 codes one is for o2 which i know why i do not have cats. The other is for a knock sensor. I have replaced and unplugged it as well as moved it, still returns. But from what I understand it should not effect performance when unplugged or even bad?

The car feels fine up until about 40% throttle (by feel not by scanner) I do have a a torque app that monitors a decent amount of stuff. I can never get the throttle to read 100% and its showing a load of anywhere from 22% to 56% while the car is at an idle? The g/sec from the MAF seems on par though?? Ive been chasing my tail for months on this car and have tried everything I know how to do. I have replaced the MAF in the past(the car had this problem intermittent before MAF replacement) and the car seemed fine and did not need an ECU flash. I have no clue if it needs one or not, I've owned the car since 05 and its never been done.

It surges up to speed and revs very slow, throttle response is pathetic. It will accelerate to redline but the car feels like its missing over 100 hp, fuel economy is also extremely poor. There are brief flashes of the car wanting to pull and surges with some power pulling through the tach.

Any suggestions are very welcome. Ive done HOURS worth of searches and reading and nothing seems to apply to my specific issues so I resorted to this. Thanks in advance for any help.


on a side note the car seems to be running extremely rich in all driving conditions, yes the plugs are new, yes the fuel filter is new...ect all basic things have been covered. I will be putting a wideband on it tonight that i borrowed.
