Grinding noise while driving

I have been having an issue the last few days. My 01 Max is making a grinding noise while driving. The CV axles were replaced about 7 months ago and I inspected them and everything looks good. I'm thinking that it might be the wheel bearing but when I jack the car up and try to rock the wheel there is absolutely no movement. When I jacked the car up and put in drive the passenger side made a clinking noise and when I looked at the axle it looked like it was wobbling a bit. Any one have the same issue or have any ideas?

It looks like it is. Should it have any play if i tug on the axle? Its starts at about 25 mph and then gets louder the faster I go.

I also have a coarse noise which is very distinct at lower speeds (the roads in nyc are horrible so hard to discern against the bumps at increasing speeds) Also recently changed my driver side cv shaft but my bearings, hub , and lca's are new. When to three mechanics all agreed something isn't normal but they could not be more specific. i am thing of getting a differnent cv shaft just to eliminate a possibility.

Lift front of vehicle and rotate the front wheels. Could be wheel hub/bearing or the brake pad wear indicator scraping the rotor.

I know this is an old thread, but im having a somewhat similar problem. When driving I hear a click click click click click sound almost like something rubbing against the wheel but nothing is (plastic covers ripped off long ago from snow) it sounds metallicy like a faint grinding and increases in frequency with speed. heard best while coasting but doesnt always happen, seems random but not correlated with weather or turning or specific speeds. Just sometimes its there sometimes its not so i never really brought it in but if its something serious i would like to know. Nothing visibly wrong touching wheel went under on ramps and looked around wheels. Brakes arent too bad but getting worn. IDK what it is.

Bad axels? Or front axel where sound is coming from. Ugly curb hit could explain that where they only replaced knuckle, wheel, re seated into suspension, and rack, they thought axel would be ok but alignment might be "off", shouldnt have went to cheap garage mechanic but im a college student...
