What do you guys think I should do next?
So I just read the header info thread and it was saying that after people get headers, they should get a Air/Fuel controller? I just got my cattman headers done and a test pipe. Anyway I'm just wondering what you guys think I should get done next? I prefer a real D.I.Y. job.
So far got a engine with like 70k put it(220k+ on the body, etc). JWT Pop Charger Intake from Cattman. Cattman Headers. Test Pipe. Previous owner had OBX Catback already installed.
What I was planning on doing next: Fuel Filter already bought, just gotta put in. Maybe O2 sims? Do I need that Air/Fuel Controller? Oh I need right axle.
Alright just wondering what you guys think I should save up for or do next? Interior/Exterior/Performance/Maintenance, Need some ideas.

You need to get a A/F controller + wideband and tune that car ASAP .
Also more mods wise...
NWP spacer kit
Block off plate
SSIM?
NWP Big throttle body kit
Bigger intake pipe

First of all, just to be safe, don't take any advice from the above poster... The damage he has caused to his own car and this forum in a few short months is ridiculous.
To answer your question, you have the right idea.
Get that axle replaced ASAP, maintenance before mods always.
He was correct in saying you need a wideband sensor to go with an AFC, so you can monitor your AF ratio while making adjustments.
Some other mods I would suggest would be:
NWP 5pc intake spacer kit and BOP
NWP larger throttle body
Coilovers/strut and spring combo
RSB
6th gen BBK
If you aren't sure what some of these are, search away my friend it's all here on the org.

Don't do any more performance mods, it isn't worth the $$...
I'm USUALLY accurate.

Ok this is the last spoon feeding your getting from this guy...
A wideband sensor goes in the exhaust like a factory oxygen sensor and measures the cars current air/fuel ratio.
An air fuel controller is wired into the main ECU harness and allows you to make certain adjustments to "tune" the car.
You need the wideband so you can monitor the a/f ratio while making adjustments with the a/f controller. The goal is to achieve an optimal a/f ratio.
That's it in a nutshell to the best of my knowledge, I'm still waiting to embark on the journey of tuning myself. Now the rest you will have to search and find on your own.

The thing about the BOP is that i like the low end torque....i heard with the BOP you loose that ...since I wont be taking it to the track right now. I like the initial get up from 1st to 3rd.....

I barely noticed a difference when I took it off then put it back on but my car isn't in top shape

Yeah I have a bluetooth elm...Torque free app on my android. However I don't know anything about Timing advance. Guess its time to hit the search button and youtube.

That's what I'm basing it off of.
Lost torque with my SSIM initially, but, as we all know, all mods need to come together, so, I had to work to get everything working together nicely, and that was fairly easy.

Don't know what an SSIM is now. I'm on my break at work, no time to do hardcore searching. I will look into it tonight.
However guys, looks like I'll have to put everything on hold, Well, I'm saving up for that axle. But, it looks like I might need a clutch? or maybe flywheel? Today I noticed that when I downshift from 5th to 4th the revs drop and don't really climb. I have to like go in neutral then rev/shift into 4th...So far shifting up is fine. But just noticed that today. Downshifting, from 6th to 5th is fine...I don't usually downshift 3-1 so haven't tried yet. What do you guys think? Does it look like I should be saving for that now instead of the other bolt ons? lol Damn ALWAYS something, just when you think your car is fine lol.
