Anybody ever clean IACV 2000?
here lately it been dipping down to like 200rpms then to 800 then down to 650 when i put clutch in coming to a light. it hasn't become a problem yet but i would like to do what i can do to prevent any issues.
Should i take the IACV out and clean it or will i need to go have a idle relearn done after?
possibly a can of seafoam into motor?

^Most people have 5.5 looks like ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm having some issues starting warm at times where it would
idle low for a sec turning on oil pressure light, or just dieing.
I almost just want to buy a cheap $50 china one from ebay but the
ecu could fry (I guess).
Look it up on youtube. Looks pretty straight forward.
Unhook batt.
Take off throttle.
Remove icv and spray it down.

I've done it. Might as well clean out your throttle body as well. Easy to do and it should help your problem. Just be careful in not stripping the screws when you take it off.
You shouldn't have to do an idle relearn after, but it wouldn't hurt if you did.
