Maybe the graph isn't SAE corrected
Why is there a break in the graph at around 5300 rpm and 6200??

His numbers aren't SAE corrected, but still impressive nonetheless.

Top curve is torque (look to the right for measurement scale)... bottom curv is hp (look to the right for measurement scale).

Juan, can you get the SAE corrected dyno from the shop?

If the top curve was torque, then he would be making more torque than HP

Juan, how many in and out sensors do you have in your AFC setting?

From the top click "etc.", then click on something that deals with sensors. Can you tell me what you have set? Thanks.

Im going over there today and post the reply later today cause im not sure and dont want to give any false info . Next plan to throw in a 50shot of NOS just to give me a little umph on the torque side of things. Soon as installed Ill post new Dyno chart. Sorry to hear about your job situation.

Could you ask them for an SAE dyno graph of your runs when you go to Toyomoto? Thanks.

Thanks, please let us know about the number of sensors.

50 shot.

Hey Kev,
I just got off the phone with the shop and he said that he recalls 2in sensors and 2 out. He would like to see the car for exact but thats what he remembers. The one thing that ****ed me off is we did a lot of runs since my friend owns the shop and after a few runs we were monitoring the fuel map on a laptop and the stock ecu was trying to compensate for the modification made. Which is basically what I was affraid of. Lance(toyomoto) said that Greddy is coming out with a piggy-back ecu (universal) called the Greddy E-Manage. He said that this should not reset to stock settings, any info I get Ill post. Also the other route is to add another injector and control that one injector to pump the needed fuel and control that injector with an ecu. This guy is a genius when it comes to building cars so next wk im gonna add the 50shot and see what else we could do to get these Maximas Airborn! Peace

Cool, thanks!

Hmmmmm..... compensating? There are a couple piggybacks out for the Maxima already (UNICHIP: tested, and Weapon-R: not tested). Did you follow Keven97SE's suggestion about the throttle position percentage?

Please don't blow your motor up with the 50 shot. You might be putting down around 370-380 whp which is REALLY pushing the motor). Good luck!

Thanks for the warning, Im definitly going to do a little research before I go with the NOS. Do you have any more info on this UNICHIP? And do you think that JET chip has any good outcomes, I know that there was an issue that it did/didn't work. Any info? Thanks...Keep in touch.

Just don't want your blowing your motor (so soon ). You probably can go with a lower shot (i.e. 20-30).

Here's a link to the UNICHIP: http://www.theracersgroup.com/theprogram_unichip.html

Don't use the JET chip with a SC. You'll go *BOOM* (from advanced timing). If you want a stand-alone ECU, go with what max'n out keeps talking about.

Vapors SMX doesn't come here anymore (retired their Maxima). The OMM likes it a lot. SteveChicagoSC didn't improve his track numbers so he returned it. Try PM'ing Steve and see if he'll give you his opinions.
