clutch feels funny

I'm not sure what it is but every time i let go of the clutch (fast or slow) on 1st 2nd and some times 3rd gear the car shakes rough, kinda like when its about to stall but doesn't...i also noticed that the clutch feels wayyyy to soft...like i dont have to put that much pressure on it to push it down, just the weight of my leg drags it down...some people might like it but i honestly dont. i want to feel like i'm actually pushing the clutch down...if anyone has come across this problem or knows a solution for this please let me know.

The clutch is bled properly so idk where else to go from here..alright fellas, i appreciate the help!

The weird release feeling could be a work throw out bearing or tranny mounts. Soft clutch pedal is your worn pressure plate

The shaking is called clutch chatter. The clutch disk is slipping and grabbing, caused most likely from wear and tear. It's probably clutch job time.

Here's the thing...i just had a new tranny and clutch installed i also checked the tranny & motor mounts before installing the new tranny. I replaced 1 motor mount that was shot, but the problem still persist.

Who did the install??? I would take it back to whoever did it and tell them to look at it. Did they replace the flywheel and pressure plate or just clutch disc???

they replaced the clutch and pressure plate but not the flywheel because i wasn't sure if i should have gotten a lighter flywheel...i've been told a lot of pros and cons about having a lighter flywheel and I'm not sure if its going to help me out. I'm starting to think that its a faulty pressure plate because it shouldn't be so soft.

So they left your original(??) flywheel in?? Is it still the factory dual mass or has it been changed. Was is machined if it was aftermarket??? Did they even tell you the condition of the flywheel??

What clutch kit did you put in??

And whats your millage? If you have an original flywheel with over 200K and they installed the clutch kit properly, then I am guessing you have a problem with your flywheel. Although its very hard to do (unless you are careless) you might also have a problem with the clutch or bearing alignment.

It also sound like you may just have air in your clutch line. You would get a soft pedal. And you clutch wouldn't disengage properly.

You need a proper diagnostic. Take if back to the shop that did it and tell them to fix it if they are the ones that installed the clutch kit.
