Swapping ebay headlight lense

Is this possible? If it is I'm willing to buy those ugly lights just to swap out the lenses if anyone has done this before let me know.

are yours broken or just yellow and hazed?

if tha latter,

use 1000grit Wet sand, than step up to 1500grit than if you want 2000grit. Take rubbing compound (I use 3M) and either rub it in really hard with a terry towel or best results buff. Can make them look great with out the hassle or cost.

you didnt specify which ebay headlights and which headlights you currently have.

i thought about this a few years ago and from what i understood is, if you have an 02-03 with HID headlights and you want new lenses and you go on ebay and buy 02-03 headlights with halos and all you want to use is the clear lens, it wont fit because those headlights are molded from 00-01 headlights. so the lens wont fit on your OEM 02-03 headlights, and if you decide to use the headlights as a whole they won't fit properly showing huge gaps.
