What code are you getting? I wouldn't throw parts at it without knowing what the code(s) are. Generally, eliminating the EGR won't cause any drive-ability issues.

I have PO403 I do not have the EGR hooked up at all not even the EGR temp sensor u think if I weld a bung into the rear manifold and plug the sensor up it will work?

Not sure. Where was it originally?

FWIW, I plugged the EGR on my son's Camry because his car was stalling at lights. Now it drives great. Plugged it in my old Accord, it was causing a stumble on low speed acceleration (passages in the manifold were clogged with carbon) and it cured the stumble so I can't see how not having an EGR would put the car in limp home. Could be the MAF failed and its just a coincidence on the timing.

i replaced the MAF with a brand new one still wont rev past 3500 unless i turn the car off and turn it back on its stupid... i do not have any EGR components connected at all the EGR valve and temperature sensor Are all deleted and the egr is blocked off so there is enough intake pressue i am going to try to reconnect the valve and the temp sensor to see if the computer will pick it up if not ill have to get a 01 5 speed ECU and reprogram the NATS.... which i dont want to do at all......
