Head rebuilt, now engine noise - with video

I just had the head rebuilt, and it cost a fair bit more than the mechanic had told me because of "milling the head and valve lash work" Now when it runs, it is extremely loud under the hood and it has very little power at all. This seems to be at its worst when trying to drive at freeway speeds or simply trying to drive up a hill. Here is a video of it at idle and when revving. Any ideas at all are greatly appreciated because I have no idea what to tell the mechanic other than 'it sounds wrong and runs like crap'
Thanks!

your oil pressure light on? That sound like a lack of lubrication to me & the cams are rougher on the shims than they should be. Also sounds like slack in your timing chain(direct relation to your oil pressure)

no oil pressure light right now, would those symptoms point to a problem with the work that was done? Definitely sounds like it to me but i dont know squat...
Thanks again!

if the shop had to machine the face if the head, It gives slack to the timing chain... if your tensioner can't keep it tight due to clogging maybe... you should pull out the tensioner and pop in a new one or clean it like crazy. Before that, what oil are u running & when was your last change? Thick oil will cause the tensioner to not perform well

oil was changed when the head work was done... about 70 miles ago. I assume they used what was called for in the manual

Hell, I assumed that both were done! Nothing on the receipt to say which one... here is a bad pic of the dipstick... the oil looks semi clear

you'll need to take the car back to the shop, and tell them that you are not satisfied. You shouldn't ever drive away with the motor sounding like that.
The shop needs to make it right BC it seems like you either don't have the tools or the mechanical abilities to do it yourself. get it back to the shop asap.

Sounds line timing chain on guide noise. Hard to tell. If you youtube it, there are a lot of good videos so you can see for yourself what is going on. search Nissan 3.5 timing chain.

Umm, like most people said, I would take it back to the shop hand them the key with your receipt and say fix it.

If I had to guess, when the shop pulled the heads they slacked off the timing chain and probably let the guide slide down and now the tensioner isn't pushing the guide. This is the common problem the happen anyways, and if your mech (who sounds dumb to begin with) didn't understand the proper installation, then he would have easily over looked where the guide was. Or probably didn't even look at the guide at all.
