Bad connections to the battery possibly. I would think that if it were the alternator itd still have a little power. A little vague...

Kinda doubtful.

Since you just worked on the battery, starter, and whatever else I would go back over everything that has recently been disassembled.

Have you checked your battery while the car is off? What kind of voltage are you seeing? More than 12vdc? Less?

Do you have a Volt-ohm meter?

My guess is loose wiring, maybe battery terminal connections not making good contact. Also check the plug/terminals on the starter & alternator.

Is there anything that works? How about the dome lights, the horns - anything?

Check the battery voltage as suggested.

Double check the main fusible link on the battery cable, check the IGN SW fusible link in the fuse box by the battery with an ohmmeter.
