removing low profile wheels

I am removing oem wheels and putting on 15" regular wheels. Does anyone know what year nissan rims would fit my 2002 and not have low profile tires. My commute is too rough for those tires

Your 02 might have brake clearance issues, and I think 16" are the smallest you can go. With that said, 2002-2003 GXE wheels would fit. They are 16". But, you can get ambitious and try previous generation wheels (15") from the 4th gen. It's a very common wheel bolt pattern, 5x114.3mm.

What size of tire do you have now, and what is your suspension set-up like?

Have you though of going with a slightly larger tire, say 225 55 17"? I'm assuming you have OEM SE 17's at the current moment.

Help us help you, please give a little more information.

The minimum size you can use is 16" wheels. 15" wheels will not clear the brake calipers.

Just run a higher profile tire. And don't buy a performance tire, buy a touring tire. something for comfort not sport. If you are running 17" go with a 225 55 17

+1^^^^ Not sure how old the current rubber is but you might find a new touring tire to be much more comfortable. Old tires can get hard, ride rough and not be very pliable.

I run a 225 50 17 tire and it works out well for comfort. I am lowered on eibach springs.

I echo what others have said...just run a higher profile tire such as 50, 55, or even 60 would fit with 17's.

I agree that 16" is best approach. I rode on flat because I couldn't stop where I got flat. it ruined tire so now rather than buying a new set , i decided to change all wheels. Michelins at $120 for 225/65r/16's instead of $250 for 17's. I found rims on craigslist and i am going for it

Time for new rubber so I am changing rims to 2002 altima 16" with 65 height , I am actually used to full size car ride. This is a whole new ride for me, the car is an animal but you do feel every bump

If I switch to 225/60-16 I will gain almost a inch more sidewall height but my speedometer will be off 3% meaning 58mph will show as 60

I currently drive a 2010 E350 4 Matic with the sport pkg. ( 18" Rims low profile tires ); never drive in the snow and I never parallel park. But I have to tell you I love finding a winding road and staying within the posted speed limit; there is nothing like the feeling you get from this tire, rim, 4 Matic and the manufactures suspension set up. Considering that this is a family sedan and not a sports car Mercedes Benz has accomplished something very special with this automobile.
