i have been relentlessly working on my 02 max since buying it at auction.every warning light was on and many other issues. But im stumped at moment working on sunroof hasnt opened since i bought it i tried replacing motor because the motor was ot of the drivers side window however even after replacing the motor still nothing. any ideas?

You need to reset or initialized the sunroof. The button with up and down (press it down to reset the motor) . Then slide the other button to open the sunroof

 

Anytime I pull the battery on my 02 Max I need to retrain my sunroof. I use the vent button on the right side when looking up and keep pushing over and over the 'Up/vent' direction and the roof slowly opens up. Once fully open, I repeat the procedure with the down vent button. Once it closes back up then the slider switch works just fine.
