Warm start trouble
Ok, so this happened twice this morning, consecutively, so I would turn the key into the on position, clutch fully depressed, and the engine would not even begin to try to start, turn the key back to the off and try again, 3 or 4 times then I would reset and release the clutch and try to start it again, and it starts, would this be a starter problem?

Voltage goes:
battery/ fuse/ ignition switch/ clutch switch/starter relay /starter solenoid.
Is voltage doesn't reach solenoid, starter doesn't work.
Pretty easy way to check is to use long wire to connect battery plus to starter solenoid. Just touch.
Make sure car is in neutral. If wire works, you have electrical problem most likely clutch switch or ignition switch.
I would check electrical diagram and use multi tester.

As car5car said, the flow of voltage involves going through several things. Do the jumper wire to verify if the starter is the problem, but I think the starter will be ok. My first guess is the ignition switch. Try turning the key fast and hard, sometimes it helps.
If you don't have a voltmeter, buy one. If you work on your cars, you will use it more than a screwdriver. Buy a decent one, not the cheapest thing you can find. Make sure it has the autoranging feature.
If you don't have a service manual, you can download one from here:
