need help for PCV

hi guys i need help about my PCV system on my 2001 maxima SE 20TH AE

Okay, i make a short ram on my car and i removed the resonator too (insane sound ) and i reconnected my VIAS hose and the other hose (that i dont know what is for) to a good vaccuum source and the big one (bank 2 PCV hose) i put a little breather on the bank 1 and 2 BUT... it stink like hell in the car when i turn on the fan in the car , my clothes smell snowmobile 2-stroke haha...

Okay bla bla so i tryed another idea. I connect 2 valve cover with 3/8 hose (which is small for the front vc) and put a 'T' tubing and put it on the intake manifold (vaccuum)...

at my first road test my oil light came ON .... looks like theres too much vaccuum ?!?!

so i dont really know what to do.

what do you recommand guys :

-put a breather for the front VC but connect the vaccuum for the back VC ? but i think i will be LEAN a bit

-build a midpipe and connect all the VC like stock

-put a little 'diy catch can' on my 'T' tubing with the breather on BUT i think it will smell snowmobile again anyway

i really want to do the midpipe idea but i dont find any on the web i heard that its dont sale this anymore BUT if you guys can give me the measurement of this midpipe(VQ30DE-K)? it will be very appreciated i will build myself with a weld machine

PS : i searched a couple of thread im not newbie but i dont find my answer.

THANKSSSS

I'll just say don't use a breather for your rockers.
If you feel you have to use breathers/filters, you need to vent both the front and rear rocker covers.

ok but i dont want to start to smell 2-stroke again lollll

i will build a custom midpipe so the big hose on the front valve cover will be connected and the other too with the pcv valve...

i think that will be the best thing to do... like stock but with a short ram and get rid of the flex section .. maybe a lil bit more louder

thanks

You only need to connect the front valve cover hose to the intake. Leave the PCV the way Nissan built the car.

yess ... i will build a midpipe to connect the big hose from the front valve cover soon.... just like stock

ohh and you guys got a little smoke/steam when the car is idling???? ... i see a little smoke when i remove the oil cap but its not so bad... i think that there a little bit exhaust getting in the oil/crankcase ... well... the engine got 200,000 miles give him a chance hahaah its not taking any oil that cool for me.

thanks dennis... i was thinking the same thing, if nissan put that like this, its beacause theres a reason... i will reconnect that up soon

Pcv

On my opinion, the best set up is to placed the oil catcher between the PCV and the intake. Install the 2nd oil catcher between the rubber tubing of the front bank and airbox.
