GAB mod idea

Alright so after reading up the normal gab mod acts as a hot air intake . I'm going to be buying a AEM panel filter and going to the salvage yard to buy a air box off a max. Here's my question , instead of having the gab mod be a hot air intake could I cut a hole in the air box and put a piece of piping in the wheel well so it sucks up cold air? Or is there a more power increase way from the GAB mod. Thankyou

dude, you would be sucking up brake dust, and your rotors, calipers, and rims all get super hot, thats not the greatest idea

can you find me proof where a CAI works? It has to be outside the engine bay to work properly, then you have to deal with all the water and debry issues. 4" intake with a good filter shows most gain possible (must tune with 4")

I used to want a "cai" but no real one exists for the max, and even if it did, cai don't work like you think, from what I understand, there is no noticeable difference, just build yourself a short ram, get a maf flange and a cone filter and mounting brackets and call it a day

Also, I want to know of george is someone's idea of a cruel joke that doesn't know when to stop, and crossed the line years ago
