What a good girl u finally said something useful. Has anyone done the 75 mm throttle body? If so how do you like it? Do u feel a difference? Can I do this and feel it with just a ypipe and exhaust?

I just saw a video on YouTube that the guy was having a problem with vacuum leaks from the spacers.he redid it 4 times 2 different mechanics and finally took them off.
Literally just finished watching it and came on here.

Im not sure still doing research on it.same boat as you. That guy might of had defected spacers or it just could be a problem more people have.what kind of intake are you using?

Im looking into intake exhaust and maybe 75 mm if Im confident enough that its worth it. Another thing I wanna figure out is a good clutch. I read fidenza with a 350z stock clutch is a good combo.but that's later on.and I wanna get a good suspension combo.

Well I already ordered and will be installing spacers myself. Most people have had no trouble. Hopefully it works well.

As for the clutch im thinking the same thing. I give my clutch about another 2k miles before I switch out

OP- don't worry about power down low, you want to get more power up top.

Spend less that $200 and do these following upgrades

VIAS BOP plate from NWP
Spacer Kit from NWP
STS mod

(all can be done in your driveway with a couple/few hours and simple tools)

Then I'd recommend Headers, exhaust, suspension, RSB or brakes

Don't worry about the throttle body unless you plan to upgrade your intake manifold

That's a very rare case. And I did mine successfully 5-6 years ago with no problems. Also removed them and put them on another manifold 2x, still no problem.

One idea to try is to use 2 OEM gaskets for the LIM/UIM for easy installation because that RTV is a to get off, especially if you plan on re-using it.

Are you kidding me? Am I the only one who thinks the tubing on this intake looks really small, not smooth/constant diameter, and like it is sucking hot air from behind the radiator? I can't be sure, though, because it is hard to determine such details only from a picture.

Yes you are right. Its not the best intake, but like I said I threw it on because I already had it. Just for the meantime while I find a good one (short ram)

What brand is most recommended?

JWT POP charger or similar. (AKA build your own)

A GAB is better than what you have there, and I'd be willing to say a stock airbox is better too.

For the spacers - USE A QUALITY TORQUE WRENCH and make sure it works (calibrated properly etc)
