01 with some air issues

TMK here in Texas, with a couple of questions.

I had a small rodent infestation and my air ducts have paid the price. I now have droppings in them and they move when the ac is on and well I don't wanna breathe that in. So how do I clean 'em out.

Also I bought a condenser from Rockauto and its the wrong size. Any ideas as to how to fit it. I can provide part# if needed.

I don't know, that is a tough one. Taking the air ducts out in a major, major task. Maybe if you drive the car on a rough road with the fan on high and keep changing the air vents, maybe you can get them out eventually.

How you could install a condenser depends on how too big or small it is. If the condenser is too big, that would be more of a challenge than a condenser that is smaller. You can make brackets for a smaller condenser. But a bigger condenser you may not be able to fit at all.

But more importantly, even if you can get the condenser in the car, will the hoses attach? There are lots of different connectors used. And it is not just the thread part, it's the end of the connector that makes the seal.

You would probably be better off to buy the correct one and sell the incorrect one.

No longer have the issue with the condenser as of a recent accident http://http://forums.maxima.org/5th-...ng-damage.html

However, now that I have the car on some down time i was thinking about getting into those air ducts so that I don't have to consern myself with the rodent droppings.

So... any sticky's on that? also I dont know if my blower motor is functioning properly as I have the air on high and it just makes a hmmming noise.

it's your blower motor, and it's a very common thing to go on our cars, search, plenty of threads.

and do you best to clean out the ducts with a combination of a blower and vaccum , and then make sure you replace you in-cabin air filter.
