Did your 2k+ come with...

Donut, but when I was looking the car over before I bought it, the salesman tried to correct me by saying it's not a donut, but a full size 'mini' tire or something like that - basically he was defensive and said it was larger than a donut, but not as large as the wheels on the car.
Yeah, whatever....
Yeah, whatever....

But I do know that if I would have bought that car 2 weeks earlier, I would have got the alloy rim. Two years later, I still remember my feeling when I discovered that...

You're correct, it's the "convenience" package (performance refers to what the salesperson used to call the package.

I do have a full size one. The floor panel is raised about 1/2 inch, not more than that. Unless you want to play pool in the trunk, I dont see why it should be a problem.

I see that all the full size spares came in Canadian Maxes. The US is the only market in the world that will tolerate donuts. Years ago it was an inertia weight issue for smog certification. Now it's a cost saver for the manufacturer. Any shell designed for other markets will fitt a full size spare so at least we can add one. BTW, the floor doesnt stick up with a stock 16" mag if you peel the foam spacers off the back of the cover.
