The BOSE we have in our cars is not that great. I have 02 SE with BOSE and do not like it at all. I would say go aftermarket.

^Agree. The Bose is ok if it already came with the car. If you're going to do the work to swap you might as well get something with better features.

If you're intent on keeping installing the Bose it will fit but I think you'll have to redo the wiring.

The wire harnesses in the car are different for the Bose and non-Bose radios. It's a lot of work to either make your own wire harness or replace one.

Sell the Bose system and use the money on something else.

The size of aftermarket double din radios have been standardized for years. It is just that many of the auto manufacturers design a non-standard radio in hopes that you will buy another one from the dealer.

That being the case, you need to get an adapter kit from a company such as METRA.

i liked the bose system in my 4g better than in my 5.5, it was also louder and provided more bass. i was not impressed with the new bose, go aftermarket.
