pcv valve stuck open?

hey guys so i've been monitoring my oil comsumption and its been absolutely horrible. for the past week or two i've been topping it off using about 2L of oil total over about 1300km.

i have had a puff of smoke flooring it in first and getting smoke on idle or coasting in neutral to a light. now obviously i figured the engine's on its way out but i've been reading nearly every oil consumption thread here and it got me thinking this passed weekend.

anyways i made a 200km trip to this place called wasaga beach and it consumed half a dipsticks worth there and a 1/4 on the way back. i don't know why it was less on the way back but kept thinking. reading up on someone having a pcv stuck open or laggy operation causes it to just dump crankcase oil.

with that in my head i figured maybe if i just beat the **** out of it the valve will start working a bit better so yesterday i went for some wot pulls, some in first some in second. today i beat on it a lot more in first and even hit the limiter twice on purpose. usually this kind of driving caused me a loss of oil of about 1/2 a dip stick worth (over last weekend taking it on 2 spirited drives with 2 friends)...
i have had tiny amount of smoke in first wot (no cats i'm even ready to say its just unburnt gasses), nothing in second wide open. checked the oil 3 seperate times today. morning first start, beat on it for 20 min drive; checked after 1/2 hour level ground; beat on it again for 30 min keeping it in second, downshifting, free revving. checked again after 40 mins and the oil level was STILL FULL!

after checking that last time i opened up the fsm to find pcv. the pcv tube between the banks was wet inside with oil, i stuck my pinky in it and the tip was covered in wet oil. it wasn't horrible but clearly saw that it had just coughed up some oil, i'm guessing it was worse before yesterday if i checked. i figured pcv was bad since i don't remember ever getting any oil in my vq30 pcv. its was only dirty, a lil cruddy and only a tiny bit moist.

so i'm hoping this is a remedy... can a stuck open pcv valve start working better all of sudden when it gets stressed? or am i dreaming? lol

PCV stuck open

Replace your PCV valve.
Install a PCV oil catcher: (ADD W1 oil catch can)
