Do any of you guys know how to remove the steering gear under the car?

 

Have you checked the FSM?

 

Yea I was hoping there's a easier way then to take offn the engine andntrans mounts , brackets and exhaust.

 

You are out of luck. It is pretty crowded around the rack and pinion, so you have to get things out of the way.

 

As for the rack and pinion itself it looks like a few bolts and 2 lines , is there anything I gotta look out for? Is it something I shouldn't do on my own? Ive never done it before but im pretty capable. Just not sure of any do or don'ts

 

[IMG][/IMG]The manual is fu ked up. It tells you in order to remove the stabalizer bar you need to remove steering linkage and refers to removing that.

When I go to steering linkage it tells you to remove engine mounts and exhaust then says remove stabalizer bar in order to remove steering linkage .so it goes back n fourth.

 

 

I really need to replace the stabalizer bar but this thin goes back n fourth.
