Front end thump

I have a thump like a skip when I accelerate from a stop with the wheel cranked as well as during heavy braking. I've replaced the cv/axels I know it needs struts would old struts cause this ? Any ideas ?

commonly discussed issue..with the 5th gen.
likely culprits include
*motor mounts (typically the passenger side causing most notable noises)
*bad wheel bearings
*loose strut tower bolt OR worn rubber bushing the nut sits on
*worn end link bushings.

If you search you will be able to find common "tests" to rule certain things out.
report back. I have a similar issue on a maxima i just bought few days ago.
