no power

no power

Have 02, when a/c gets cold car loses ALL power- gas pedal all the way down & nothing, put in neutral and engine will rev, put back in drive and nothing-- turn a/c off and I can drive it, does make a strange whine when driving though

It might be a possibility of the a/c electrical system is overloaded sapping all the 12v from the electrical system while other system needed the 12v to keep the ECM going. YOu might have to get an A/C professional to diagnose that since A/C are not easy to figure out what's the culprit might be.

You might have a bad throttle position sensor (TPS) that doesn't like being cold.
