2000 max acting up.

my 2000 max stopped working 2 weeks ago am at a loss,3 weeks ago the factory alternator died along with battery,thankfully i had a autozone warrantied battery.did install myself car started right up ,but would not accelarte past 2500 rpms ,i parked it in my drive way till following morning ,did not start cranks strong but wont turn over.pull throttle body did thourgh cleaning but still wont start tps shows no resistence.thuoght it could be cps so i replaced both today still cranks but wont start,getting reasdy to test fuel pump ,anyone think i missed something,i ve had car since 2001.repaired and cleared all trouble codes 4 mons.ago. no codes now.help.

Sounds like your MAF went out. Unplug it and see if the car will start.

Next guess would be the crankshaft sensor for the flywheel CKPS(POS).

Car needs fuel+spark+correct timing. Since you didn't touch timing only 2 possibilities left. You can buy starting fluid and spray a little into intake- if the engine gives you few cycles then you have fuel problem if it remains dead- you have no spark. I'd check if you fully plugged the connectors after repairs and if you haven't blown any fuses along the way.
