How to clock and 02/03 flywheel?

I had a friend replace his clutch and flywheel (oe replacement) and now the car is throwing 2 timing advance codes and has reduced power. While doing research they pop up for not clocking the fly wheel correctly. How do you do that? Are there any markings that need to line up?

Well, could the flywheel been improperly installed?

See page 80 in this link.

Yeah, this could be the only thing
I checked the vtc selenoid and they are clean, car ran fine on the slipping clutch that was on there before
