Just bought my maxima last month, never owned a nissan before this found out the transmission problems via this board installed a transgo first time ever inside an automatic was fun next is precats as i have an exhaust leak too

2002 GLE 103k miles, seems like average joe owned it doesnt burn oil.. yet oh its burgandy really like the color

and for the problem i had a slight 2-3 flare up like 100 rpm hardly noticable only within first 5 minutes of driving too also changed plugs on it found rear bank tubes having oil in them so replaced the cover as i found out quickly that they dont have interchangeable grommets who the f designed that coils i think may be bad no missfire codes yet

 

Mine had same issue, I bought the basic transgo kit, and installed it also. Made a huge difference in the fun factor of the car, timely downshifts, and crisp upshifts now.
