Doing a P0505 ECM repair yourself? This may help!

Hey everyone, I have been seeing quite a few threads about the P0505, IACV, high idle, and all that going around lately.
So since I am about to do the repair on an '01 I30, I thought I would whip this up to make things a little easier.

If anyone needs help or spots a mistake let me know!

Thanks

Great picture. I assume this is for your 2001 I30. Do you know if it also applies to my 2000 Maxima SE, AT, produced in late 1999 ?

The wire colors and the pin numbers are the same as both versions of the 2000 Maxima and the 2001 Maxima. But I don't know if the printed circuit board inside the ECM is the same.

This I believe is the case! Pg. EC-432 shows the wire color and pin out in my FSM. You can go to this place http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/2000/ and download ALL chapters of the FSM for your car.

I did check anyway though, and found out that the wire colors are in fact the same on both vehicles. Though the info is on Pg. EC-327 of your vehicles FSM.

I hope that helps!!
