5th gen commercial

Found this old school commercial for the 2003 Nissan Maxima.
Very nostalgic.

Nostalgic indeed. I was watching those old commercials recently and saw the 5.5 and 5th gen ones. I love how in this one u posted they only say one thing, its got 255 horsepower

How come they dont make commercials like these anymore? Those were awesome...

Cool commercial. Now let's see 320 HP 2015 Maxima with 6 speed manual.

I bet nissan will never make a stick FWD car, again, in the US. Versa and Altima will go the way of the Dodo. Full on Toyota retardation.

I remember seeing this commercial. The Maxima was mean when it came out in DC, everybody wanted one. This guy in my neighborhood came home with a pearl one, man that one was sick.

Well, I will move to Europe or just step away from Nissans. I have had many Nissans, most of them Maximas, but I am getting sick of this old comfortable Cadillac-like car for old people bulsh*t!

I got my first "Maxima" aka I30 when I was 17 years old, that was 2001 back then.

Here we are approaching 2015 and 8th gen Maxima on the way. Somehow I STILL have a 5th gen Maxima, gonna be 30 years old, and I love it no less than I did that awesome day when I first bought my I30 as a young punk kid in NYC. Oh and, may I remind you that despite the age difference between then and now, the Maxima is still every bit as reliable.

That really says it all about the quality and amount of car you really got with a 5th gen, and really anything from 3rd-5th gen was all good. Unfortunately, 6th/7th gen I never even considered. If Nissan builds half the car that a 5th gen Maxima is with this new 8th gen, I might actually be in one when it comes out.

I used to love this 5.5 Gen commercial.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnaYFVrPQZ4

There were some really good commercials for the 5/5.5 gen Maxima's. I used to have a folder on my computer with about 7 or 8 of them but I don't have it anymore. I remember another one with an astronaut in the shuttle dreaming of driving a Maxima.

Did any of you guys ever notice how all the 5th gen commercials show the Maxima without spoiler, and 16" wheels. The only one that features an updated 2001 SE is the sunset commercial for 2001.

Also, seems like the 5th gen commercials show a good bit of drifting vs the 5.5gen commercials. Wonder if that means anything

The best part of those back then was the ability to SHIFT_that is now gone... .

These are awesome! I clearly remember the sun chaser one the most from "growing" up in that time frame.
The 502 miles one is a bit a stretch...to highlight its claimed 28 mpg highway...
no one ever saw that lolz

I found the astronaut one that I referred to earlier in the thread
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyzF193rDSM

Nissan had the best commercials back in early 2000's, not just their Maxima commercials but the commercials for their whole line up their commercials really played on how fun their cars were to drive. I remember there were even some good Pathfinder commercials back then.

Sweet, seems our theme usually has something to do with space
