Fix Rattling - Upgrading Sound System

Okay so I used to have a Boss R1100 Amp (ew) hooked up to a Kicker Comp 12 10CVR122 (nice). They shook the rear panel (between the seat and windshield) but I was able to fix it with some hidden cloth. I'm now upgrading to an alpine MRV-M500 and Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 and I know it will shake that panel more.

I'm wondering how I can fix as much rattling as possible, and also how to remove that back panel.

Thanks!

Apply sound deadening to the area, & some type of foam mat material.

You can try using more of the same of what you are currently using. Try to work on the areas that are creating the rattling.

As for the cost of CLD....The Knukonceptz CLD door kit starts at $48, their thicker version is $60. That's a very good price for what you're getting. I've used their Kollossus edition on my doors & trunk.

You can also pick up CLD & closed cell foam from here....Lots of great info to be found there as well.
