Electrical problem. Nothing turns on. Please help!

Okay so this is my mistake, I'm a real smart one for what I did. I have a grounding kit on my car. Which I recently installed, And one of the wires that go from the positive battery to the positive alternator was touching my fans. So I decided to relocate it. But me being a smart one forgot to disconnect the battery and when I went with my extension and socket to take the nut off the positive lead off the alternator. Sparks flew and I blew the fuse on the ground cable. I've looked through a couple of fuses under dash and under hood like the starter and alternator fuses and they're not blown. When I reconnected the battery. No lights no anything. No start.

I'm HOPING it's just that I fried or blew my battery. Anything else you guys might think it is?

I have never heard of a ground cable having a fuse in it.

A voltmeter will tell you if your battery is any good, but I doubt that you damaged the battery doing what you did. What I would check is the 120 amp fusible link (fuse) that is built into the positive battery cable where it clamps onto the battery post

The grounding kit I Bought also had the "big three" upgrade with it. So that wire that runs from the battery positive to the alternator positive has a fuse in between the connections. I'm not a electrical guy so I wouldn't know. haha. It just takes load off the alternator.

If I did fry that one fuse on the battery positive cable. Where can I buy it and how much will it be? I know Nissan will probably have to order it which I DON'T want to have to do because getting to work on three buses sucks. Tomorrow is my day off and I want to resolve this.

Cause I literally get no lights at all in my car. Nothing when I open the door. Nothing when switching the ignition on. Nothing.

If im not mistaken the big three is a stinger kit and is for audio purposes. A ground wire kit would not hook up to the posive terminal. The inline fuze should just be a standard 15amp fuse which you can get at any parts store cheap. you can get a pack for probably less than 3 bucks.

The fuse in my big three kit I'm not worried about. I'm worried about my car not having any electricity at all.

I was in a hurry since I was already late for work so I didn't check that fuse. But I will first thing tomorrow. How would I know if it's burned out? It's like a normal fuse that breaks in the middle?

That 120 amp fuse link on the battery terminal was burnt out. Replaced and everything works fine that I know of.
