I have a 2003 with 170 xxx miles engine dies after wot but when normal driving no problems at all it accelerates like it should and idle is fine. No check engine light so not sure where to start I've heard of recall for cam and crank sensor for 02-03. If anyone has had this issue and resolved it help would be appreciated.

 

Just to add car starts right back up and all electronic accessories stay on

 

My 03 6mt did the same thing months ago when putting it in neutral at high speeds. Many people recommended changing out the CPS sensors and I did. But before doing so, I cleaned out the MAF and I think thats what solved the problem.
