You can't get traction control with a 6 spd.

Oh ok so the HLSD does not have a switch. But would it affect the performance of the car? What im trying to find out is it better to get that with the 6spd or not. Thanks

How much HLSD will effect the performance of the car is debatable (see the thread "Is HLSD an absolute necessity on a 6 spd.?"). I think it's more likely that HLSD is a positve influence on performance than a negative influence, thus if it's available there's not much debate about whether you should get it. However, if it's not available the question of waiting or how hard you should be trying to get it IS debatable.

So I guess MY answer to "Is HLSD an absolute necessity on a 6 spd.?" would be NO, it's not absolutely necessary. While HLSD is a very worthy option it is FAR from a necessity.
