can anyone please tell me what they think this sound is??

i just changed my oil, took it on the highway and this sound started and got worse gradually. no smoke but the oil light did come on. the car will start but almost feels as if there is no compression. any advice would be welcomed.

Definitely a knock. Not chain rattle. As mention above it may be toast...
I see you are a new member; just bought it used?? What grade oil did you use?

10w 30 castrol..... ive taken the timing cover off in hopes that maybe the tensioer was broke but everything looks normal there. lost oil pressure, that means the oil pump is bad ?? along with bent rods too im guessing??

 

Main and big end bearings shot. Better look for a motor in a junk yard. Sorry.
