Exhaust System 5.5th

Anyone know of a decent Exhaust System that eliminates cats for my 5.5th maxima.

We call those headers or a test pipe.

Our pre-cats are actually th most restrictive point. To eliminate these, he already said it. ^You need headers.

Afterwards, you can delete or replace your catalytic converter, verry small hp/tq gains and sound/note changes result, and then choose a cat-back exhaust system. From budget to baller, there are many options.

... provided your state guidelines allow it.

While the O2 sim will handle the SES light- Getting my car to pass visual inspection is always... tricky.

*looking for low prices*

so start off with headers. (brand? price?)

will this eliminate the y pipe? what about the cat by the passenger side?

what's a good low price catback system?

Damn son! Nice numbers. that ~10/7 gain results just from the test pipe? No new tune or other components afterwards? on a 5.5 gen right?

Just curious, did your butt dyno feel that lowend loss? I know it more than makes up for it in top end, just curious though. Lots of spirited city driving for me. Hah.

If you look closely, the gains are in the low end as well. Red line is test pipe and Helmholtz delete, and there are gains low and high end. AFR's kept constant on both runs. Both runs best of 4 runs each.
