Should I Exchange parts with a 2004?

Hello, I have a friend that has a 2004 Nissan Maxima and I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE.
And he is planning on trading in his 2004 Maxima for another vehicle this Sunday.

He has recently replaced his 04 with some new parts(Shocks, struts, Brake Rotors, etc) and offered me to exchange my old never replaced factory Oem 2002 Nissan Maxima shocks/struts with his 2 months old KYB shocks/struts he recently installed and some cash. Question is:

1- Will his 2004 Maxima KYB Shocks/Struts fit my 2002 Maxima SE, or at least the Shocks alone?

2- Will his 2004 Maxima Brake Rotors fit my 2002 Maxima?

3- If yes to any of above. Is it worth making the exchange? Why?

Thank you

Nope none of that stuff would fit

You could take his front brake parts and make a gen 6 big brake kit though

6th gen swap:

Parts needed: Rotors, pads, caliper, caliper bracket, and matching hardware. Original brake lines will work.

Pros: Huge rotors, everything comes off one car with out needing to cobble parts for a real BBK. Fits behind many wheels.

Cons: Doesn't look as cool. Less options in pad choice perhaps.

So, going back to what is important, you say none of the Shocks fit my 02?

Also, that rotor conversion seems difficult to do, right?

Dunno never researched rear. Weight distribution on these cars are 61/34 so it's the front that I care about

Bad thread for BBK, since we know they bolt right up and clear 5.5 gen wheels.

I had a BBK on my Maxima and it was well worth it.
